STONE CHIP ANKLETS:
Ok, Go ahead, laugh at these titles!. Only so many ways to desribe Pink & Grey!
OOAK Each and every anklet is a little bit different. I use semi-precious stone chips and glass beads, strung on multi-strand mini cable. Since I sell these mainly at themed festivals, I add dancing bells for an extremely faint jingle. The bells need to be touching each other to make noise. (Yes, I can remove bells, but it won’t affect the price of the anklet.)
Metal clasps & findings are NOT silver. They are plated base metal. Generally, it does not cause a problem for metal-sensitive people, as they move around and aren’t pressed tightly to your skin.
SIZE & HOW TO MEASURE:
The easiest way to measure accurately is to take a piece of string, wrap it loosely around your ankle so it lays where you want your anklet to “ride” with room for at least one finger between the string and your ankle, and then measure that string. That will give you the basic measurement in inches.
The FINISHED length of each anklet is shown on its photo, in inches, in ¼ inch increments. It’s usually ok to get an anklet ¼ to ½ inch larger than your ankle measurement but can be uncomfortable and troublesome to go smaller. The best bet is if you see one you like, to look at the finished length as shown on the photo, measure out that length on a piece of string, and then see how that fits.
MTOs-
Sometimes. You’ll need to message me. The set up to make these is extensive and I usually spend a week just making a few dozen. It really depends on how busy I am. For special order on these, the cost is $20+ depending on what is being requested. I have a large variety of stone chips and choice is limited to type of stone chip and basic color scheme. I do not “duplicate” any previously made.
